Recently, I got a chance to explore some of the SEO Chrome extensions as I love to use them. My personal favorite to date was SEOquake, but one extension caught my attention when I was searching for an all-in-one tool.
This is the SEOWallet Chrome extension, and it is totally free.
I used almost all of its features and loved the way they have put so much effort into building a comprehensive tool to help SEOs and writers like me.
This article is all about the SEOWallet Chrome extension, so let’s have a look at the features that I found most useful and see how you can use it for your own benefit.
Tools in SEOWallet Chrome Extension
The first step is to install and pin the extension.
Once you’ve done that, you need to sign in. After that, open a website or make a search query, and this is how it will appear when you bring the cursor to the left side of the screen.
By the way, if you do not want to search for it, here I’m adding the link to the extension. You can view and download it directly here:
Here are the main features/tools in the SEOWallet Chrome extension:
Overview
This is the first tool in the extension and it lets you have a detailed look at the main aspects of a website like its URL, title tag, meta description, canonical tag, total word count of content, core web vitals data, and hreflang tags.
If there is any issue, it will highlight it, and from there you can fix it. Simple as that.
Image Optimization
Just below the ‘Overview,’ you will find a feature called ‘Image Optimization.’ It tells you about the details relevant to your images on a webpage, like alt text, titles, URLs, and broken images.
This feature also enables you to highlight the images on a web page and export the data.
Instant Position Checker
This is another powerful feature of the SEOWallet Extension.
Now you can easily track the rankings of your keywords with it.
Any declines or improvements in keyword rankings will be displayed here. Just create a project for your targeted keywords and monitor the rankings in no time.
Rank Comparison
As its name indicates, Rank Comparison helps in comparing the ranking of certain keywords of your site against your competitors.
This needs to be done by creating a project.
You can enter your competitors and keywords, and there you go—you are ready to track the performance of your website for specific keywords against your competitors.
Search Intent Finder
Here you can check different boxes, like titles, descriptions, URLs, headings, and JSON-LD, to see this information for a particular website in SERPs.
This way, you can identify the search intent and also see the headings structure and JSON-LD code right on the search results page for each website.
My hands are going to get tired, but the features of this extension aren’t going to end. 😀
Link Checker
Want to see all the links on a webpage, whether they are internal or external? SEOWallet has solved this problem.
Just open the ‘Link Checker,’ and you will be able to see all the links.
Keep in mind that if you choose the feature to highlight the links, the nofollow links will appear in red color, while the dofollow links will appear in yellow color.
Heading Optimization
No need to install a separate extension to check the heading sequence on a webpage (as I have already deleted mine).
Now you can see the hierarchy of the headings with this extension. Beware—if there are headings in red color, this is an indication of improper hierarchy or sequence.
Page Pro Analyzer
This one is my favorite, and I think you’ll love it too.
Forget about expensive SEO audit tools. Just open a website and select the Page Pro Analyzer tool in the SEOWallet extension. It will take only a few minutes, and you will have a detailed report on all the issues on your website.
This not only gives you issue details but also information on how to take the right steps to fix the issues.
Don’t believe my words, try it yourself and you will love it!
IndexAPI Connector
Frankly speaking, I never knew that I could send hundreds of URLs for indexing or to update search engines about changes to my content.
I have always used Google Search Console for this purpose, which only allows a few URLs per day.
But the IndexingAPI Connector allows you to send almost 200 requests per day to Google when you update any piece of content on your webpage.
Not only that, but the IndexNow API feature here allows you to send URLs to other search engines that follow the IndexNow feature, like Yandex, Bing, etc.
URL Toolkit
If I start writing about the URL Toolkit, it will take another hour to describe its features, as it is a comprehensive tool.
It covers almost everything you can imagine doing with website URLs—from extracting all URLs on a page to trimming, cleaning, and exporting. It offers plenty of features.
I would recommend you read this detailed article on URL Toolkit to understand all of its features. This will give you a thorough understanding of how it can benefit you.
Structured Data
Know about the presence and type of JSON-LD code or schema markup on a webpage using the ‘Structured Data’ feature in SEOWallet.
Social Markup
See the meta tags (title, URL, description, image, etc.) for Open Graph and Twitter Card.
Domain Inspector
Want to know all the details about a domain, like its age, creation date, WHOIS history, DNS details, etc.? Use the Domain Inspector feature.
This will also allow you to see the sitemap and robots.txt files of a website.
If a website has used any type of tracking system, like Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics, it will also inform you about it.
Redirects Manager
With Redirects Manager, you can verify the redirects on a webpage with their status codes. While the Upload Redirects feature allows you to implement redirects in bulk for different platforms.
The tool is currently offering this for Umbraco but plans to introduce more platforms in the future.
Local Search Simulator
Now you do not need to go to Google settings to change your location to see the search results of various countries.
SEOWallet has solved this problem, as you can now easily view the search results of any country by simply selecting a few of the options.
This feature is a 10 out of 10 for me, alongside the Page Pro Analyzer.
SERP Analysis
Instead of searching for your indexed pages in Google, you can enter them into SERP Analysis, and it will provide results with information on how many of your pages are indexed and how many are not
AI Assistant
This feature is currently not available, but as you can see, they claim to provide several features for this tool as well.
I’m very excited and eagerly waiting for this one. I hope it will be as good as the other features and will speed up my research or writing process.
Character & Word Counter
When turned on, you can select any text, right-click on it, and it will tell you the total character and word count of that text.
SERP Counter
Just type a keyword in the Google search bar, and you will see the ranking position of each website for that keyword in the search results. Make sure to turn this feature on.
View Rendered Source
Want to see the rendered version of a website?
Turn the ‘Current Status’ to on, then right-click on the webpage you want to see the rendered version of and select ‘View Rendered Source.’
Now you can see three versions of the webpage side by side: Raw, Rendered, and Difference.
This is all about the SEOWallet Chrome extension. I have just given you an overall view of this extension; there is much more to explore. I found it very helpful, and I believe that for SEOs and writers, this tool is a must-have.
Download it now and let me know which features I’ve missed to mention.
