Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram are having problems in Pakistan and other parts of the world today. Many people are having trouble logging into these apps and websites.
Lots of users are posting on Twitter about the issues they’re facing. Some people say they’ve been logged out of their Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Downdetector, which keeps track of when websites and apps aren’t working properly, showed a big jump in reports of problems starting around 8:20 pm Pakistan Standard Time. Instagram users are also saying that their feeds aren’t loading new posts.
Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, hasn’t said anything yet about what’s causing the outage or when it will be fixed. The graphs from Downdetector showed that the number of people reporting problems with these social media sites suddenly increased around 8:16 pm.
Note: Apart from the above-mentioned social media apps, some users are also reporting errors on Twitter.
